Youthwork Directory

Want to put your organisation on the map?

Wish others knew what you offer young people in the UK?

Want others to see what your youth group does?

Wish your project were online?

If you are a Christian UK-based organisation, project or group that aims to help 11 to 18s or those working with young people, here is your opportunity to tell others what you do on the UK's first Online Directory for youth work.

Youthwork: the Partnership is launching this exciting new online resource for anyone working with 11 to 18-year-olds in the UK and beyond.

The Youthwork Online Directory will be available from April 2006 at www.youthwork.co.uk/directory and we are inviting you to add your work to this unique listing.

When you join the Youthwork Online Directory, details of your project, group or organisation will appear alongside hundreds of others, making it easily accessible to those who want to find out more about what you do.

Youthwork the Partnership is a collaboration between five Christian UK-based organisations - Spring Harvest, Oasis, Youth for Christ, Alove (the Salvation Army for a new generation) and Youthwork magazine.

Youthwork the website aims to provide relevant news, updates, resources, and training for Christians working with young people aged between 11 and 18. It receives 22,000 visits a week from youth workers in the UK and across the globe.

What do I gain from joining the Youthwork Online Directory?

In its simplest form, the Youthwork Online Directory will be a unique, extensive, and exhaustive listing. Youth workers who access the site will be able to search the Directory for a range of different Christian UK-based organisations, projects or groups that aim to support them and/or their young people, including:

  • Church youth groups
  • Local community projects
  • Training courses
  • Residential centres and hostels
  • Denominational youth departments
  • Publishers of youth titles
  • Sports ministry organisations
  • Support and advice services
  • Para-church organisations
  • Mission organisations
  • International organisations
  • Festivals and events
  • Youth Evangelism

How will my details be listed?

All entrants who fall under the stated requirements are offered a choice of three levels of listing: Level One, Level Two, or Level Three. Please see the attached preview page to view how the level system works and to discover how your organisation would appear online.

Level One

This level of listing is FREE to everyone, and includes:

* An entry into the searchable public Directory

* The name and contact details of your organisation, including postal, fax, telephone and email

* A short description of your work (250 characters maximum)

* An optional link to your website

Level Two

This level of listing includes all of the above, with the addition of:

* An optional custom logo space

* An expandable space beneath the entry containing a larger place to write customised content and graphics (limited to 2,000 characters and one graphic)

This service is available for just £30 per year.

Level Three

This level of listing includes all of the above, plus:

* A dedicated page link from your entry where you can place in-depth customised content and graphics. This would hold extensive information about who you are and what you do and provides an excellent opportunity for groups and organisations that do not have a website of their own.

This service is available for just £90 per year.
