Foundations 21 - Discipleship Material

The new way to do discipleship

What is Foundations21?

Foundations21 is:

  • web-based - using your own computer
  • for new and experienced Christians who want to be more effective disciples of Christ
  • a combination of personal exploration and interaction with other people
  • a mix of Bible exploration, web-based activities and personal application

The Foundations21 website includes:
  • Over 3500 web pages of discipling material
  • Links to over 7000 external websites to go deeper
  • Daily Bible reading
  • Thought for the day
  • Maps and Cyclopaedia
  • Bulletin boards
  • Chat room and much more
Foundations21 is a web-based discipleship programme that will take about a year to initial completion. But, with multiple pathways through and regular up-dates, it can last you a lifetime.

To take part you need a computer with a connection to the internet – either dial-up or (ideally) broadband – and a DVD-ROM. You will then meet once a month in a small group for mutual support.

Foundations21 is divided into twelve ‘rooms’ each introduced by a video. It encourages you to choose one or more friends to be your discipleship mentor(s), who work with you as you progress through the rooms. You have a choice of learning styles suited to different personalities – offering four different pathways through the material.
